Joints
A joint is an essential component for sealing between different sections of pipework, as well as between components such as valves, flanges and fittings. Joints are designed to prevent the leakage of fluids, whether oil, natural gas, water or other chemicals, through fittings and connections, helping to ensure safe and efficient operations. When a joint is inserted between two fitting surfaces, it is compressed when the components are assembled, creating a watertight barrier that prevents leaks. joints can also be made from other materials, such as metal, plastic or other specific materials depending on the needs of the application. The choice of material will depend on the properties of the fluid being conveyed, temperature, pressure and environmental conditions.
